Our Story
Lexi was founded in 2023 by lawyers and AI researchers who saw a fundamental problem: law firms were drowning in repetitive work while their best talent was stuck on tasks that did not require their expertise.
We built Lexi to be the AI associate that every lawyer deserves - one that handles the time-consuming research, drafting, and review work, freeing attorneys to focus on strategy, client relationships, and the complex legal thinking that truly requires human judgment.
Today, Lexi serves over 100 law firms, helping them handle 45% more cases without adding headcount. Our AI has processed over 135,000 documents and assisted on more than 7,000 cases.
